Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Correct. The quoter collects only gender, date of birth, health status, tobacco use, desired benefit amount, and policy term. These six data points suffice to generate rates. Personal identification and detailed health history are solicited only upon application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The displayed amounts reflect what each carrier would charge you for the health classification you indicated. Once underwriting occurs, the carrier may confirm, upgrade, or adjust your actual class. Rates shown here are illustrations only, not guarantees or insurance offers.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, the system builds an application from the exact quote you selected, and the process moves to the carriers' encrypted application system. Your progress can be paused and resumed, and signatures are digital. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California operator (License 0B75129), manages the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
The carrier, coverage amount, and your health profile determine this. Carriers that offer immediate decisions can underwrite qualifying applicants instantly; every quote on this site indicates exam necessity or probability.
Is a longer term better?
Term coverage should span the years when your household would suffer financially from your absence: a mortgage balance, dependent children, business debt. Extended terms carry higher monthly costs but fix your rate longer. This tool displays all five standard terms—10 through 30 years—for comparison.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool does not ask for contact information. We neither sell nor share visitor data, and our analytics do not use cookies. Consult the privacy policy for specifics on what is captured and how it is managed.
